So fellow classmates and Andrew:) This is the plan…..
By week 4:
Have raccoon character and horse completely modeled and have the topology ready to be imported into zbrush.
*fix areas around the eyes of the models
*make sure that there are no five sided faces
*make horses nose more narrow
*Clean up vertices around raccoons nose
*Model the nurb planes for the tail of the horse as well as the mane.
*Start to think about how to approach unwrapping uv’s
By week 8:
*Have uv’s unwrapped for both characters
*Have the fur for the raccoon started and almost done
*Continue to create hard surface models for environment as well as building
shading networks for those objects. (Trees/ bump maps, displacement maps)
*Think more about lighting design and how to go about rendering scene in passes
*Think about how to approach grass and ground texture
By week 11:
*Raccoon character fully modeled and textured (with fur)
*Horse model completed and touched up in Zbrush
*Solid environment modeled and textured

Start working, the proposal is good. Also you should take a look at the Faculty/Resources/Tutorials and Documentation folder. There is now a very awesome tutorial pdf on using fur in there that you should read.
