i am taking a break from fur for a bit because maya is making me angry, so i am working and familiarizing myself with zbrush. zbrush rocks! here is some detail i am going to be putting into the legs. i have a horse anatomy book i am looking at as well as a book with really detailed images.

If you enjoy your "breaks" using ZBrush, all your models will rock ;-). Fur looks really tough to master by the way...
yeah it sucks. not a fan. i know you guys say my raccoon looks ok, but i picture it differently in my head and that is why i am getting frustrated. that and hairs keep growing in strange areas and magically grow longer in other areas?!?! WTF I am going to try andrew's method of baking everytime I make a big change and hope for better results.
