I have the baldness map applied and am happy with it. I am still tweaking the length map and painting direction.

looking good, but there appear to be some wierd bald spots on the tail.
You are being a fur specialist, Jackie! I'm following up your progress on the fur and it's amazing how different it is, but still funny. Don't comb it too much! He is a wild animal, hehehe
I dunno if it does anything but try hitting the play button so the hair settles in with gravity.
Then render--
I agree with Aron. give it a test run and if you do...... go to your graph editor and turn on cycle with off set. This may help the hair to settle and not behave irratically
